2nd Edition of the International Conference on Zero Carbon Built Environment - ZCBE 2026
The
The conference program is designed to offer a diverse and enriching experience for attendees, covering research topics in scientific areas such as climate resilience and society, regenerative design and sustainable materials, digital transformation and renewable technologies, and methodological topics in policy frameworks and governance.
The program includes Plenary and Keynote Lectures, providing a platform for academic researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers to share their findings and strategic insights. These sessions, scheduled for July 9 and 10, offer keynote talks from distinguished experts addressing global sustainability goals and the shift toward Zero Emission Buildings (ZEBs) in alignment with the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
Invited Lectures complement the conference by providing context and broader perspectives for the parallel sessions, which feature Contributed Talks given by the conference participants. A unique highlight of this edition is the Student Workshops on Net Zero Carbon Strategies taking place on July 8, offering hands-on thematic sessions for MSc and PhD participants focused on practical approaches to carbon-neutral design and digital tools.
Additionally, the conference hosts a Poster Session, creating opportunities for researchers and practitioners to present their work visually and engage in discussions with their peers. By connecting all stakeholders, the conference ensures that the innovative solutions and valuable research presented are widely accessible, promoting ongoing international collaboration towards a sustainable future.
