Abstract: 

FIBR3D project is centred on the emergent technology of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and its application beyond the state of the art in fibre reinforcement thermoplastics (FRTP).

The main goal of FIBR3D consists at developing a hybrid and integrated process that combines into a single-step platform additive and subtractive operations and allows CAD-to-Part productions with freeform shapes using long or continuous FRTP.
